Create Inventory Reports

Sortly users can generate three types of inventory reports:

Item-Based Reports (via Advanced Search)

You can generate item-based reports in the Advanced Search section of the Sortly Desktop App.

Within the Advanced Search feature, you can generate custom lists by filtering them based on item details like Folder Location, Sortly ID, Quantity, Price, Notes, and any custom fields.

Once you have a list you want to download, bulk select all the items and then tap on the Export button. You can export those lists via CSV, Excel, PDF, or Dropbox.

Note: The CSV, Excel, and PDF reports are customizable.

Folder-Based Reports

You can export your inventory lists within any folders (and their subfolders) by tapping on the Export button within the Folder Options menu. Please take a look at the screenshots below.

You can also choose to export multiple folders simultaneously by bulk selecting Folders.

These reports can be exported via CSV/Excel, PDF, or Dropbox.

Note: The CSV, Excel, and PDF reports are customizable.

Single folder selection:

If you've grouped items in a folder that needs to be moved or distributed somewhere, this is a great way to get a picklist for your team to take further action on the items.

Activity-Based Reports

You can generate activity (transaction) based reports at the item, folder, or account level.

Item or Folder-based

Click on History in the item/folder options menu
