Adding a photo to an item

Need to add a photo from your computer? Open the item in edit mode on the web at app.sortly.com.

Select the item, then select Edit at the top right.

Under Product Information, select the photo block.

Select the photo on your computer, then select Open.

Select Save at the top right.

Repeat these steps to add up to 8 photos in total.

Adding photos via CSV/Excel bulk import

Prefer to add photos to many new items at once? Use bulk import. Each photo needs a public URL that's searchable through Google or another search engine, and this works for new items only.

Editing photos

Need to adjust zoom, orientation, crop, or order? You can do all of that in Sortly on the web at app.sortly.com. The mobile app only supports adding or removing photos.

Open the item with the photo you want to edit and select Edit at the top right.

Select the pencil icon next to the photo.

Choose an edit option from the toolbar at the top: move, crop, zoom in, zoom out, or rotate.

When you're done, select Save at the bottom of the editor.

Select Save again at the top right.

Adding photos to items on mobile

Prefer to snap a photo on the spot? The mobile app lets you use your camera or pick a photo from your device.

Tap the item, then tap the photo icon at the bottom right of the image box.

Take a photo, or tap View Library to choose one from your device.

Select the photo, then tap Add.

Tap Done, then tap Save at the top right.

Repeat to add more photos.

Adding photos to folders on mobile

Need a photo on a folder? The steps are similar to items, but you start from the folder's three-dot menu.

Tap the three dots next to the folder, then select Details.

Tap the photo icon at the bottom right of the image box.

Take a photo, or tap View Library to choose one from your device.

Select the photo, then tap Add.

Tap Save at the top right.
