Whether you are uploading images from your mobile phone, tablet or desktop, you have the ability to edit the images. You can go into your item and edit the zoom level, orientation, crop level, and move the images.
You are currently only able to edit images through the web version of Sortly (app.sortly.com) with mobile image editing coming at a later point in time. Let's get started.
Web
Once you have logged into your Sortly account, you will want to navigate to the item you want to edit. Click on the pencil tool to edit the item seen here:
Once you are in the item, you will want to hover over the image of the item and you should see a pencil appear. Click on the pencil to edit the items images as seen here:
Once you click on the pencil tool, you should be pushed to the image editor. This will look like the following:
In the highlighted red box above, you can see all the settings you have within the view to make changes to the images. These are defined as follows:
- Zoom In - move in on the image
- Zoom Out - move out on the image
- Crop - cut the image to a different size
- Move - move the location of the image or starting point of the image
- Rotate 90 degrees clockwise
- Rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise
Once you have made the adjustments on the image, you can click 'save' at the top right of the page and your changes will have been saved. Please note: editing images is currently only possible through the web (app.sortly.com).
