Setting up bulk alerts will allow you to easily group together items and set the same parameters across them. In previous versions of Sortly, this was limited to a single item, but we have since addressed this option by allowing you to select multiple items at once and make changes to that grouping of items.
Let's get started. To select multiple items at once, make sure you are on the items tab here: https://app.sortly.com/root. At the top left of each item, you will see a check box. Select 1 items check box to open up the bulk actions settings seen here:
You can then use the select tool highlighted in the bulk actions bar or you can click on each item you would like to set an alert for manually. Once all of the items have been selected, you will click on the set alert option seen here:
Once the items have been selected, click on the Set Alerts button. (Bell icon in the mobile screenshot) This should pop open a window for you on the web:
From here, you will select continue. You will then see the following screen which you will be able to set the alerts on:
Build out the alert setting to your needs and hit confirm when done. Remember that you are able to select different team members to send alerts to in the system if you are on the Advanced or Ultra versions of the software.
Once you hit confirm, you will now see a little bell icon across the items that have an alert set for them seen here:
Alerts will then be triggered when the threshold is met. You will see an alert in the app under the alerts tab as well as receive an email for this alert.
