Manual Self-Serve Backup
While Sortly has redundancies and recovery policies in place, you can also manually back up your data by exporting it on a regular basis. On Premium or Enterprise plans, you can set up Report Subscriptions to have exports sent directly to your inbox.
Here's a quick comparison of your export options:
CSV or Excel (Inventory Summary)
- 1Go to Reports > Inventory Summary
- 2Click Export and choose CSV or Excel
PDF Report (with Photos)
- 1Go to the folder, or use Advanced Search to filter items
- 2Click the three dots > Export > PDF
- 3Choose your layout: Album, List, or Compact
Dropbox Export (CSV + Image Files)
- 1Select your items > Export > Dropbox
- 2Connect Dropbox and choose to include data, images, or both
