Sortly Release Notes

September 2022

💻 Web Feature Enhancements:

New Reason for Deletion Feature

Sortly will now ask the reason for deletion when you delete items and folders. There will be a menu dropdown of deletion reasons on the deletion screen and an option to add custom notes, too. This information will be reflected in activity-based transaction reports, so you can track why (and by whom) items were deleted.

Folder Permission Update

The folder permissions section of Sortly has improved search functionality. Folder permissions now displays a window showing users who have access to the folder—and allows you to “quick add” new users.

Tags Homepage Update

Tags1

The Tags home screen now looks and feels more consistent with the home screens in other sections of Sortly. Additionally, the improved search functionality allows you to “clear” your item search in one click.

New “Below Minimum Level” Filter in Reports

Sortly now has a “below minimum level” filter in activity-based (transaction) reports and low stock reports, allowing you to filter by items that have fallen below the set minimums.

📱Mobile Feature Enhancements:

Streamlined Photo Selection

Photo Picker

The mobile app now features a simpler photo selection interface, allowing you to more easily select library or camera when uploading a photo to Sortly. The app now uses the operating system (iOS or Android) photo selector.
