Manage Alerts

Sortly's Manage Alerts feature empowers you to stay on top of your inventory by providing a centralized hub to monitor and control quantity and date-based alerts. This feature allows you to streamline your operations by easily viewing, editing, filtering, and managing who receives these crucial alerts—all from one convenient page.

Accessing the Manage Alerts Tab

To access the Alert Management page, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Manage Alerts
  2. Once on the Manage Alerts page, you'll be presented with an overview of all your quantity and date-based alerts. Each alert will include relevant information such as the Item Name, Alert Type, Quantity or Date parameters, Trigger ETA, Last Triggered Date, Create Date, Sortly ID (SID), and current status.

Filtering Alerts

  1. You can filter the criteria by clicking the Filter icon or the headers at the top of each column. You can filter by Item Name, Alert Type, Sortly ID (SID), Last Triggered, Last Created, Trigger Count. You can also choose between Quantity and Date Alerts or both. To see alerts that have never triggered, ensure the Never Triggered checkbox is checked.If the Filter type allows, you can filter by clicking the header at the top of each column.
  2. To see Alerts triggered in a certain timeframe, select the Date Filter.

Editing Alerts

Change Alert Recipients

To change who receives the alerts:

  1. Click the checkbox next to the Item(s) that you want to edit.
  2. Uncheck or Check the recipients that should be alerted.
  3. Manually add specific users if desired.

If you need to adjust multiple alerts and change who is alerted, please choose the items that have the same Min Level or Date. This will allow you to adjust multiple alerts at once and keep the same Min Level and Date criteria.

To change the Alert's criteria:

  1. Click the checkbox next to the Item(s) that you want to edit.
