Online Orders help you reorder inventory faster by letting you restock items directly from Sortly using Amazon Business. When something is running low, you can reorder right away—without needing to build a list or manually start a Purchase Order.
After you connect Amazon Business, you can also see your recent Amazon Business orders inside Sortly, so your restocking history stays in one place.

What Are Online Orders?
Online Orders is a restocking feature in Sortly that lets you:
connect your Sortly account to your company’s Amazon Business account
search Amazon from inside Sortly when you need to reorder
place Amazon Business orders while you’re working in Sortly
view your recent Amazon Business order history in Sortly
Once connected, Sortly will automatically sync your Amazon Business orders from up to one month before your connection date. You’ll find these in Workflows → Online Orders.

How to Connect Amazon Business
You only need to do this once.
In Sortly, go to Settings.
Select Amazon Business.

Click Connect.
Follow the prompts to sign in and approve access to your Amazon Business account. Note: You’ll need to be an admin on your Amazon Business account to complete the connection. If you’re not, ask your Amazon Business account admin to connect it for you.
You can also connect from Workflows → Online Orders. If you’re not connected yet, Sortly will guide you through it there.
How to Restock with Amazon Business
When you’re ready to reorder an item through Amazon Business:
Open the Restock window (see the section below "Where you can restock from" for where to find it).

Select Buy Now Online and click Choose
Review the Amazon results and select the product you want.

Complete your order in Amazon Business.
After your order is placed, it will appear in your Online Orders list in Sortly.
Note: Ordering through Amazon Business is an extra option in Sortly. You can still create Purchase Orders in Sortly anytime.
How to Restock When Items Run Low
When an item is running low or out of stock, Sortly gives you a quick way to reorder right away. You don’t need to make a list first—the restock option shows up automatically where you’re already working.
When Restock shows up
Restock options appear when:
an item reaches or drops below its minimum stock level → labeled Low Stock
an item hits zero → labeled Out of Stock

How to open Restock

If an item is Low Stock or Out of Stock, a shopping cart with a “+” appears on the item card. Click it to restock.
For items that aren’t low yet, hover over the item card to reveal the restock icon, then click it.

You can also click the three-dot menu on any item and select Restock.
From there, you can choose to Buy Now Online or Use a Purchase Order.
How to View Online Orders
All synced Amazon Business orders appear in Sortly once your account is connected.
Go to Workflows.
Click Online Orders.
You’ll see details like:
purchase date
order total
Amazon order number
tracking info (when available)
Orders placed outside Sortly will still appear here, as long as they’re part of the connected Amazon Business account.

Amazon Business Connection
How do I connect my Amazon Business account to Sortly?
Connect your Amazon Business account by going to Settings → Amazon Business and clicking Connect. You can also connect from Workflows → Online Orders if prompted. You only need to do this once.
Will I be able to see Amazon order details in Sortly?
Yes. After connecting, your Amazon Business orders will appear in Workflows → Online Orders, including purchase date, total, order number, and tracking info.
Does Sortly add a markup to Amazon items?
No. Sortly does not add any extra fees. Amazon prices display directly with no markup.
Can I use this feature on any plan?
Online Orders are available only on Ultra, Premium, and Enterprise plans.
Is this only for Amazon?
For now, yes. Sortly plans to support more vendors in the future.
Will this replace Purchase Orders?
No. Amazon restocking is an additional option. Purchase Orders still work the same way.
Where do I find my Amazon order history in Sortly?
Go to Workflows → Online Orders after connecting.
What happens if I disconnect Amazon Business?
Sortly will stop syncing new orders, but your past order history will stay visible in Sortly (read-only).
Why don't I see the option to connect to Amazon Business?
The Amazon Business integration is only available for Sortly Ultra, Premium, and Enterprise plans on US-based accounts. If your account is on a different plan or registered outside the US, the connection option won’t appear.
If you believe you meet these requirements but still don’t see the option, double-check that:
You’re signed in as an Owner on the account.
Your Sortly plan is Ultra, Premium, or Enterprise.
Your account’s billing address/country is set to the United States.

Restocking
Where will I see Restock?
Restock appears on item cards, item detail pages, dashboard, notifications, low-stock emails, and the reorder page. You can also open it from the three-dot menu on an item.
How do Low Stock and Out of Stock work?
Items at or below your minimum level show Low Stock. Items at zero show Out of Stock.
Can I restock multiple items at once with Online Orders?
Not yet. Bulk restocking is currently available only for Purchase Orders.
Will Sortly notify me about low stock?
Yes. In-app alerts and low-stock emails include a one-click Restock link.
Amazon Results
How does Sortly help show better Amazon matches?
Sortly uses your item details (and item photo when available) to improve the Amazon results you see while restocking.
What if my items don’t have photos?
Sortly will search Amazon using your item name and details.
Will this slow down my search?
No. Results load as part of the normal Restock flow.
Does this work for every item?
It works best when items have clear names and photos, but Sortly will still search Amazon for any item you choose to restock.
