Sortly Product Overview

Sortly is a powerful inventory management app designed to help you keep track of your items easily and efficiently. This article provides an overview of the key sections of the Sortly app to help you navigate and utilize its features effectively.

Dashboard

The Dashboard is your home screen, providing a quick overview of your inventory. Here, you can:

  • View a summary of your item, folder, and value totals
  • Check the recent activity of your items and folders
  • See a list of recently added items and folders
  • Review Items that are low in stock

Items and Folders

The Items and Folders section allows you to:

  • Add New Items: Enter details such as name, description, quantity, price, and more.
  • View Item Details: Click on any item to see detailed information, including photos and custom fields.
  • Edit Items: Update item details as needed.
  • Delete Items: Remove items from your inventory.
  • Create New Folders: Name and categorize your folders for better organization.
  • View and Manage Folders: Access items within folders, and move or rename folders.
  • Nest Folders: Create sub-folders within folders for a hierarchical structure.



Search

The Search feature enables you to quickly find items or folders using keywords. You can:

  • Perform Quick Searches: Enter keywords to find items or folders instantly from the search bar
  • Advanced Search: Filter search results by various criteria such as Folder, Quantity, Sortly ID, Custom Fields, and more.

 

Tags

Tags offer a versatile way to categorize your inventory, facilitating easy search and organization. While folders are typically arranged by location, tags allow you to group items based on other criteria, such as brand or color.

 

Reports

Generate and view reports to analyze your inventory. Features include:

  • Custom Reports: Create reports based on specific criteria such as item category, value, and more.
  • Export Options: Export reports in various formats like CSV or PDF for further analysis or sharing.
  • Scheduled Reports: Set up regular reporting intervals to receive updates automatically.

Settings

Customize your Sortly experience in the Settings section. Options include:

  • User Profile: Easily change your email address, password, or link to Google SSO.
  • User Access Control: Add or remove users, assign roles, and set permissions.
  • Preferences: Set preferences for notifications, display settings, and more.
  • Company Details: Update your Company Name, Industry, App Color, Initials, and Company Logo
  • Integrations: Connect Sortly with other tools and platforms for seamless data synchronization.
