How can I get alerts in Sortly—and what can I be notified about?

Sortly offers several ways to keep you and your team informed about important inventory activity through alerts and notifications. These can be delivered via email, in-app notifications, or through integrations with tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Webhooks.

You can receive alerts related to two main things in Sortly:

Items

  • When item quantities fall below a set threshold
  • When an expiration date is approaching
  • When an item is created, edited, moved, or deleted

Folders

  • When a date-based custom field is linked to a folder and the trigger date is approaching

Read on to learn how alerts work and where you can receive them.
